Description
The Okuma Andros 5-11 (often written as Andros 5 II or A-5II)is a compact, high performance, two speed lever drag fishing reel.
Designed to handle massive saltwater game fish like tuna on smaller, lightweight tackle, it weighs just 15.2 ounces but delivers up to 24 pounds of drag.
Two-Speed Gearing: Features a push-button mechanism to easily shift between a high gear ratio (6.4:1) for fast retrieves and a low gear ratio (3.8:1) for cranking power.
Line Capacity: Capable of holding up to 400–600 yards of 50-65 lb braided line.
Cast Control System: Includes a versatile dial that prevents backlash when casting lighter baits in the wind, and applies tension when bottom fishing.
Durability: Built with a one-piece 6061 bar-stock aluminum frame, corrosion-resistant 17-4 grade stainless steel gearing, and a carbon fiber wet drag system.
