Description
The Bellows series neck seal is a specialized product line. Unlike traditional conical or tapered seals, bellows-style seals feature a corrugated or “bellows” shape that provides a greater range of motion and enhanced flexibility.
Key Features of the Bellows Series
* Enhanced Mobility: The bellows design allows the seal to expand and move with the user when bending or turning, improving comfort and safety in drysuits.
* Trimmable Fit: These seals typically include molded “guide ribs” or rings around the opening, allowing users to trim the latex with sharp scissors for a customized, watertight fit.
* Versatile Sizing: Available in multiple sizes (often Small through X-Large) or as “Unisize” models that can be cut to fit neck circumferences up to 44cm+.
* Material Composition: Typically made from natural rubber latex (NR), offering high stretch and strength, though they require protection from UV, ozone, and chemicals to prevent degradation.
